✓ Maximum weight: 50 lb (22.7 kg) per individual carton. Any carton over 50 lb must be marked "Team Lift" on 2 opposite sides.

✓ Cartons over 100 lb (45 kg) are prohibited entirely — Amazon will reject the pallet.

✓ Carton size: longest side must be ≤25 inches (63.5 cm). Exception for oversize items (must be labeled as "oversize" in advance).

✓ Corrugated strength: minimum 32 ECT (edge crush test) for standard shipments. Heavy items need 44 ECT or double-wall construction.

✓ Tape closure: minimum 3 strips of 2-inch clear packing tape — center seam plus both edges. No string, rope, or stretch wrap as primary closure.

✓ No tape covering — the FNSKU label must be on the outside surface of the poly bag, not covered by tape, shrink wrap, or the product's hang tag.

✓ Warning text must read: "WARNING: To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this plastic bag away from babies and children. Do not use this bag in cribs, beds, carriages, or playpens. This bag is not a toy."

✓ Warning must be printed in English. Chinese-only warnings are not accepted by Amazon US.

✓ Warning must be visible through the bag — either printed directly on the bag or on a label visible from outside.

✓ Combined bags: if multiple units are bundled inside one poly bag, the outer bag needs the warning. 14% of multi-unit bundles CloudSpects inspected failed on this rule.

FBA box ID label. One per carton. Must be on a clean, flat surface — never over a seam, edge, or tape. Label must be fully scannable (Amazon's scanners reject labels with creases, wrinkles, or peel-back corners).

"Made in China" marking. Required on each carton, not just the pallet label. Must be permanent — printed or affixed with adhesive that does not peel during transit. 33% of China FBA shipments CloudSpects inspected had carton-level origin marking missing.

"This Side Up" arrows. For fragile, liquid, or directional-sensitive products. Must be on 2 adjacent sides of the carton, not just one.

Team Lift label. Required on cartons 50-100 lb. Must be visible on 2 opposite sides. CloudSpects found 41% of qualifying cartons did not have the label.

Mixed SKU cartons. If a carton contains multiple SKUs, it must be clearly labeled "Mixed SKU" on the FBA box ID label. 18% of mixed-SKU cartons CloudSpects audited lacked this marking.

✓ Pallet type: Standard GMA-grade wood pallet, 40 in × 48 in. No broken boards, protruding nails, or splinters.

✓ Maximum height: 72 inches (including pallet). Maximum weight: 1,500 lb per pallet.

✓ Stretch wrap: 3-4 layers minimum. No gaps. The bottom 3 inches of the pallet must be left unwrapped for forklift access.

✓ No overhang — cartons must not extend past the pallet edge. 1 inch of overhang triggers pallet rejection.

✓ Pallet label: one FBA pallet label per pallet, placed on 2 adjacent sides.

Apparel. Each garment in a poly bag. Hang tags must point downward or be removed. 19% of apparel FBA rejections involve hang tags damaging the poly bag during transit.

Electronics. Anti-static bags (≥4 mil conductive) for components. No loose batteries. Retail packaging must survive 3-foot drop test without opening.

Liquids. Double-bagged with absorbent material. Leak-proof cap seal required. Amazon requires 100% of liquid units to pass an inverted seal test.

Glass/Fragile. Minimum 2 inches of cushioning material on all sides. Individually boxed within the master carton. "Fragile" label on 3 sides.
