Step 1: Send the inquiry (and what to attach)

Step 3: The inspector walks your checklist

On the day, the inspector arrives at the factory gate, confirms the order with the production manager, and opens cartons according to the AQL sampling plan — for a typical order that means pulling 125 or 200 units from random cartons across the batch, not the pretty ones on top. 🔍

Then the real work starts: measurements against the golden sample or spec sheet, weight checks, label and FNSKU verification, carton marking checks, and functional tests where the product allows. Every check gets a photo. Every defect gets classified as Critical, Major or Minor against the AQL limits you agreed in the contract. The inspector is not there to be liked by the factory — they are there to answer one question: does this batch match what you approved?

Step 4: Your report lands within ~24 hours

The report is not a one-line verdict. It opens with the overall result (pass or fail against the AQL level), then breaks every checked attribute into Critical, Major and Minor findings with photos. You can see exactly which carton, which defect, and how far outside the limit. 🧾
