What FBA inspection covers
An Amazon FBA inspection is not the same as Amazon’s own fulfillment center receiving process. It is your pre-shipment quality control at the supplier—aligned with how you will list, label, and ship into FBA. We verify that production matches your spec and that cartons are ready for your prep partner or forwarder.
Workmanship, basic function tests, accessories, and assortment by PO—against your approved sample and quality standards.
FNSKU placement, inner/outer packaging integrity, suffocation warnings where required, and master carton marks readable for the supply chain.
Sample measurements vs. listing and shipping plan; carton counts vs. packing list—surprises here drive split shipments and unexpected DIM weight.
Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) vs. during production (DPI)
Most Amazon sellers use pre-shipment inspection (PSI) as the default FBA inspection step: production is largely complete and packed, and you want a report before final payment. Add during production inspection (DPI) when you need mid-run visibility—new factory, seasonal launch, or categories with higher defect risk (electronics, apparel sizing, children’s products).

Amazon FBA requirements we commonly verify
- Labeling: FNSKU/barcode readability, placement consistency, and mix-ups between SKUs on the same PO.
- Packaging: Poly-bag rules, bundle integrity, and points that fail in transit or at prep (crush, seal, drop-risk areas).
- Carton & shipping marks: Alignment with your booking plan and prep center instructions—not only factory defaults.
- Sampling: AQL-based pre-shipment inspections per agreed plan (e.g. ANSI/ASQ Z1.4), with defects classified for your go/no-go decision.
- Documentation: Photo evidence for major defect categories so your team, prep partner, and finance see the same facts.

Why independent FBA inspection matters
Factory self-checks and trading-company QC are not independent. A third-party FBA inspection service reports to you only, with structured checklists and traceable photos—so you can hold shipment, negotiate rework, or protect your supplier payment terms without guessing.
Typical electronic reports arrive within 24 hours of the onsite visit. Transparent pricing from USD 169 per man-day in many regions (final quote depends on city, SKU count, and scope). We coordinate in English and Chinese for buyers who do not visit the factory every order.
FBA inspection FAQ
Is FBA inspection the same as Amazon’s warehouse inspection?
No. We inspect at the factory or packing location before export. Amazon fulfillment centers apply their own inbound rules when goods arrive—we help you meet those rules upstream.
Do you replace laboratory or compliance certification?
No. Onsite FBA inspection covers workmanship, quantity, packaging, labeling, and basic function. Mandatory lab tests (e.g. certain electronics, toys, chemicals) should still be arranged where regulations require them.
Can you follow my Amazon FBA inspection checklist?
Yes. Share your checklist, approved sample, and prep center requirements. We can map them to our report format or execute your template directly.
Which cities in China do you cover?
Major manufacturing hubs including Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Fujian, and others. Remote sites may need extra lead time—confirm when you request a quote.
