PSI is the final check on finished goods before shipment. An independent inspector samples by AQL, checks workmanship, quantity, packaging, and labels, then sends an English report so you can approve or hold before final payment.

PSI runs after production is complete. DPI runs mid-production (often ~20 - 0% complete) to catch issues earlier. Both are from $169/man-day. Many sellers use DPI on new factories/SKUs and PSI before shipment.

Most bookings are one man-day on site. English reports are typically within about 24 hours of the visit—not a hard guarantee when scope expands (extra SKUs, special tests, or remote sites).

Yes. Inspectors are third-party—not employed by your supplier and not paid based on pass/fail.
